- Join Axpo Solar/Urbasolar in Italy to accelerate the energy transition. You’ll shape grid connections for utility-scale PV plants, work across Europe, and collaborate with diverse experts who value innovation, teamwork, and impact.

What you will do:
- Develop grid connection strategies during project origination phases.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize feasible connection points, performing capacity screenings and grid studies.
- Analyze grid restrictions and propose optimized technical solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Italian DSOs and Terna, negotiating technical and commercial conditions.
- Optimize grid connection costs, prepare budget estimations, and support financial assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Technical, Finance, Legal, Procurement) to align technical, commercial, and regulatory constraints.
- Facilitate the transition from Ready-to-Build (RtB) to COD, ensuring smooth handover to construction teams.

What you bring & who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,



preferably Electrical.
- 5-8 years of experience in renewable energy interconnection, with deep knowledge of Italian grid codes and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize technical and financial solutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, especially with DSOs/TSOs.
- Proficiency in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across Italy as required.
- Ideally, experience with utility-scale solar PV projects and familiarity with interconnection processes.
