We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Intern to join the Finance Operations team. The position will be based in Milan, and start as soon as possible.
Gross reimbursement: 800 euro

You Will Primarily Be Responsible For
- Ensuring customer invoices are processed accurately and on time
- Reconciling bank statements and other payment methods
- Allocating daily payments and settling invoices
- Identifying and highlighting credit notes and write-off concerns
- Monitoring and collecting overdue debtors to minimise Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Creating and maintaining customer master data
- Escalating issues promptly and managing disputes
- Engaging with internal departments to resolve customer queries
- Preparing monthly statements for customers
- Supporting management and the team to achieve goals and objectives
- Providing reporting and analysing data to identify trends
- Assisting in internal and external financial audits, ensuring compliance with controls and policies
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile
- Currently studying towards a degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field
- Understanding of the Order-to-Cash process
- Advanced skills in Excel; knowledge of French is a plus
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly analytical with the ability to identify risks
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, adaptable and flexible
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Assertive, persistent and target-oriented
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
