Job SummaryTo manage the general accounting needs of our Mediterranean region.
After an introduction program, you will be the autonomous respondent for all general accounting needs,
in particular, this includes following tasks:
Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure the integrity of financial statement/regulatory reporting information recorded in the legal entities.
Accounts Receivable & Payable management
Execute monthly closings (bank reconciliation ; fixed asset depreciation, bad debts, accrual posting ; main balance sheet /profit & loss accounts reconciliation; basic financial reporting and comments on monthly figures)
Cash Management preparation for the entities
Preparation of VAT returns & Intrastat
Support financial partner to prepare statutory accounts and income tax returns
Coordination and supervision of Financial audits
Support ad-hoc projects
The position reports directly to the Head of Finance, based in Lisbon.
QualificationsYour Skills and Experience:
Educated to degree level in Accounting and/or Finance
Advanced Excel skills
Between 2 and 4 years of experience in similar role
You are independent, flexible and precise, with a particular ability to work under tight deadlines.
You have good English proficiency.
