Materials Research & Development Specialist - Shoes

**Position**:
**Main Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the style office for the stylistic trends and to check research results;
- Materials research and development;
- Define a raw materials development specification;
- Collaborate with Quality Department in order to define the technical aspects, testing activities for raw material and to verify compliance according to the company's qualitative parameters;
- Use the database to register the technical data sheets of materials shared with suppliers;
- Monitor the orders of samples leather;
- Control the quality and follow the industrialization of raw materials;
- Anticipating and managing production issues, proposing solutions when required. **Profile**: - Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion/Product Management or in a related field;
- Experience (3/4 years)



in fashion industry;
- An experience in industrialization of leather is considered a plus;
- Excellent knowledge of materials (Leather and Fabric) and of production processes;
- Strong attention to new trends and research;
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point);
- Knowledge of Stealth 3000 and Model Form is a plus;
- Good knowledge of English;
- Excellent communication skills, attention to details and high level of accuracy;.
- Problem solving;
- Flexibility and pro-activity;
- Good knowledge of English;
- Team working;
- Passion for Fashion and Luxury.
