pbPOSITION SUMMARY /b /ppbSlot Manager /bsupervises and coordinates the activities of the Casino slot machine, Arcade and ShipShape gym equipment servicing function and the employees engaged in providing courteous and professional service to guests.
/ppbr/ppbHiring Requirements: /b /pulliPrevious supervisory experience of slot technicians in a casino environment /li /ulppreferred.
/pulliFormal training in the repair and troubleshooting of a variety of electrical, mechanical and/or electronic equipment.
/liliPrevious slot technician work experience in live casinos preferred.
/liliProven ability to read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance /li /ulpof tools and equipment, and methods and procedures in mechanical /ppdrawings.
/pulliProven customer service skills to interact appropriately with guests in a /li /ulpconsiderate, professional and positive manner by showing concern and /pplistening actively.
/pulliAbility to communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and /li /ulpshipboard employees to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
/pulliAbility to stand for an extended period of time.
/liliAbility to count paper and coin currency quickly and accurately.
/liliAbility to perform basic math functions with regard to monetary units and /li /ulpcompute slot machine percentages.
/pulliAbility to learn and utilize knowledge of policies and practices involved in /li /ulpthe human resources function.
Ability to supervise an international team of /ppSlot Technicians in a positive and productive manner by motivating, /ppdeveloping and managing employees as they work.
Ability to utilize and /ppadminister the disciplinary action process through coaching and counseling /ppto improve performance or recommend termination of employment.
/pulliWorking knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to /li /ulpnavigate within a variety software package such as Excel and Word.
/pulliCompletion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred.
