Your challenge
Indirect sales through partners and channels is one of our three main sales strategies. It’s your job to make sure that relationships with distributors, system integrators and value-added resellers are good and stay good. Without you, Advantech would not have such a market share in Benelux through our sales partners.
Your responsibility
The position of Channel Manager is quite a challenging job. Besides making sure the business with your partners is going strong, you are also responsible for the cooperation you have with all the different resellers, distributors and system integrators. You run a network of certified sales partners. You help your partners in making quotations, calculations and winning customers. Together with the channel partner, you visit the end customer to make sure they will eventually choose your solution. However, you don’t stop at that. It’s also up to you to make sure your revenue is growing. You develop the indirect sales strategy for your region and act on this. You do this by analyzing existing business and making business decisions. Do you see white spots in your analysis? By finding new partners or expanding existing relationships, you make sure Advantech is and remains the leading player in the world of Embedded Computing!
Who are you?
You breathe indirect sales! Whether it comes down to influencing your partners to sell your product or training resellers and distributors, this is your trade. Because you have been involved in the B2B distribution market for several years, you know how to play the game. Your knowledge on the IT market is extensive, ideally on the industrial embedded market. This position is based in Italy, and you are responsible for the Italian & Greek market. This means we need you to speak Italian on native level plus (very) good English.
How do we see the future?
This is a very interesting time to be a Channel Manager for Italy at Advantech. Over the last years, this position has shifted from box shifting to strategical partnerships. We demand that from our partners, but also from the new Channel Manager! You are an added value to the relationship with our channel partners. Together with you, our system integrators, value added resellers and distribution partners will keep on growing their own and our revenue!
