The Communications Coordinator supports the Communications Director in managing the company’s communications across internal departments, regional teams, PR agencies and content partners.The role sits within the Marketing team and works closely with Product Marketing, CRM, Content, and Legal. Across all areas, this position requires proactive contribution and independent thinking, not just execution and coordination.Key Responsibilities:Manage the flow of communications regarding consumer engagement tips between internal departments and with regional teamsCoordinate communications with global PR agencies, managing assets and press needs across long lead and short lead product pushes and new launchesAct as the daily point of contact with SMN's copywriting agency, coordinating translation, localization and copy requests across marketsSupport review and coordination of SMN communityPartner with the CRM team to review and approve email communicationsMaintain an organized shared drive system for brand assetsManage & coordinate social media channels including Instagram, LinkedIn and othersKeep the global marketing calendar updated, contributing opinions and input rather than tracking it passivelyWork closely with the content team, managing assets according to PR,
Ecommerce and social media needsContribute to gifting initiativesHelp coordinate events and press tripsPrepare decks and briefing materials in support of executive needs across the organizationProvide coordination on basic legal matters related to communications materialsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related fieldAt least 4 years of experience in communications, PR or a related field, ideally within luxury or heritage brandsFluent in Italian and English, written and spoken; additional languages are a plusProficiency in Office Suite; experience with Launchmetrics preferred; Adobe Creative Suite isa plusHighly organized with strong attention to detailDiscreet, able to handle confidential material with good judgmentComfortable writing and communicating in an institutional tone rooted in heritage, rather than a lifestyle or trend focused marketing voiceWilling to travel regularly to Florence, with occasional international travelEqual Opportunity Statement: The announcement is applied to both sexes, according to laws 903/77 and 125/91, and to people of all ages and all nationalities, according to legislative decrees 215/03 and 216/03.
