INTERNSHIP – VERIFICATION & VALIDATION | 6 MONTHSWe are looking for a curious, motivated person who is eager to learn and take on new challenges to join the Engineering team at COSMED (Rome) for a 6-month paid internship in Verification & Validation (V&V;). What we are looking forMaster’s degree in Engineering Fluent English, both written and spokenGood knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and ExcelGood knowledge of the European Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR 2017/745)Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with professionals with different backgroundsCuriosity and a strong analytical and problem-solving attitudeWillingness to experiment, learn and challenge yourselfInterest in both practical testing activities and technical/regulatory documentationProactive attitude and willingness to investigate issues, identify root causes and contribute to their resolution What you will do The selected candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Verification & Validation of medical devices and software,



taking part in activities such as:Performing and documenting in-vitro tests and experimental activitiesDefining and executing test protocolsAnalysing and interpreting test resultsInvestigating anomalies and supporting problem-solving and root cause analysisSupporting product and software verification and validation activitiesPreparing compliance reports against applicable standards, guidelines and regulatory requirementsSupporting the assessment of product compliance with relevant guidelines and technical requirementsPreparing technical documentation and test reportsCollaborating with Engineering, Product Management, and other multidisciplinary teamsWorking with testing equipment and methodologies in a highly technical and multidisciplinary environment Above all, we are looking for curiosity and a willingness to learn: you don't need to know everything from day one, but you should be willing to ask questions, experiment, investigate problems and turn them into solutions.
