Ocean Export Operations Supervisor - US Relocation OpportunityL'esperienza richiesta ai candidati, così come le competenze e le qualifiche aggiuntive necessarie per questo lavoro, sono elencate di seguito.An international company operating in the freight forwarding and international logistics industry is looking for an experienced Ocean Export Operations Supervisor to join its U.S. office and operations team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and is interested and available to relocate to the United States and work from the company’s U.S. office.The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in ocean export operations, preferably within a freight forwarding company or NVOCC, and will have progressed from a hands-on operational role into a position involving team coordination and supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and supervise day-to-day ocean export operations.Ensure shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time, in line with company procedures and customer requirements.Oversee the preparation and management of export documentation.Identify and resolve operational issues throughout the shipping process.Monitor activities to ensure a consistently high level of customer service.Lead, support, and develop the operations team.Work closely with customers, vendors, ocean carriers, agents,
and internal teams.Provide hands-on support in complex or critical situations and step in directly when needed.Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve processes and service quality.The responsibilities described above are not intended to be exhaustive and may be subject to change based on business needs.Requirements5–10 years of experience in ocean export operations within the freight forwarding / international logistics industry.Experience with a freight forwarding company or NVOCC.Strong hands-on knowledge of ocean export processes and related documentation.Career progression from an operational role into a position with team leadership or supervisory responsibilities.Previous experience coordinating, leading, or supervising an operations team.Proven ability to troubleshoot operational issues and make timely decisions.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Customer- and service-oriented mindset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good command of English, both written and spoken.Willingness and availability to relocate to the United States.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a hands-on ocean export professional with strong operational expertise and experience developed directly in the freight forwarding industry.This is not an exclusively managerial position. xdwybme The successful candidate must be comfortable working closely with the operations team, understanding the details of the export process, resolving issues, and providing hands-on support when needed, while taking responsibility for the efficient management of export activities.
