The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, user support, device configuration, installations, and maintaining IT assets at the site.Key ResponsibilitiesProvideLevel 1/Level 2 onsite EUC and desktop supportto end users.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related todesktops, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other peripherals .
Perform hardware installation, configuration, replacement, and troubleshooting.Install and configureWindows operating systems, applications, drivers, and security tools .
SupportMicrosoft 365 / Office 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft applications.Perform user account, password, and access-related troubleshooting in coordination with the appropriate teams.SupportActive Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, Group Policy, and basic endpoint administration.Troubleshoot network connectivity issues includingLAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and IP configuration .
Perform device imaging, OS deployment, software installation, patching, and endpoint configuration.Support endpoint management platforms such asSCCM/MECM, Intune, Ivanti, or similar tools.Handle IT assetinstallation, inventory, tagging, validation, movement, and decommissioning .
Provide hands-and-feet support for network and infrastructure teams when required.Assist withserver room / network room activities,
including basic cable tracing, patching, labeling, and equipment validation.Support IT projects such asdevice refresh, office moves, hardware rollouts, migrations, and site deployments .
Coordinate with remote infrastructure, network, security, and application teams for issue resolution.Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, assets, and activities in theITSM/ticketing system .
Follow definedSLA, ITIL, security, and operational procedures .
Prepare activity reports and provide regular status updates to the onsite/remote management team.Required Technical SkillsStrong knowledge ofWindows ***** desktop and laptop troubleshooting .
Hands-on experience withMicrosoft Office / Microsoft 365 .
Knowledge ofActive Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID) .
Basic understanding ofLAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting .
Experience withdesktop hardware and peripheral troubleshooting .
Knowledge ofSCCM/MECM, Intune, Ivanti, or other endpoint management tools .
Experience withOS imaging, deployment, and software installation .
Familiarity with ITSM tools such asServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, or similar platforms .
Basic knowledge of network devices such asswitches, routers, access points, and firewallsis preferred.Ability to perform onsitehardware replacement, cabling, asset validation, and equipment installation .
Note-Backfill Engineer – IT SupportBackfill requirement for an IT Support Engineer to ensure uninterrupted IT support and site operations.
xysqume The engineer will handle day-to-day user support, troubleshooting of hardware/software issues, network connectivity, system access, and other IT-related incidents.
