You drive growth and productivity initiatives to strengthen its competitive position. You govern the adoption of finance and controlling policies and guidelines based on the overall FIN strategy while ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations (external and internal).
- Budget Planning, Forecasting & Financial Reporting: You coordinate budget planning and forecasting for the entire IL project business, ensuring IFRS-compliant accounting and timely preparation of financial closings as well as accurate books and records (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Performance Monitoring: You monitor and comment on financial performance (current development and outlook) incl. KPI analyses and performance reporting. You analyze, approve, review and forecast project revenues and costs, and ensure accurate profitability throughout the project lifecycle, as well as initiate early warnings to stakeholders when needed.
- Project Finance & Risk Management:
You identify and manage financial risks associated with the execution of projects, including currency, credit, and operational risks, ensuring proper risk assessment and provisioning in calculations and financial statements.
- Operational Improvement & Innovation: You identify operational improvement potentials in controlling and financial processes, propose solutions and remedial measures, and drive productivity improvements through automation and innovation initiatives.
- Collaboration & Transformation: You work with IL management, operational leadership, and central finance functions while supporting organizational transformation by challenging the current processes and collaborating across all stakeholder groups (e.g., FIN, P&O;, EHS, GBS, SCM).
- Team Leadership & Development: Finally, you manage and develop Finance and Controlling teams supporting the global IL project business. Traveling to its locations and project sites is necessary.
Your success is grounded in
