Overview
As a Credit Risk Manager, you will oversee underwriting for Retail and Corporate portfolios and manage IFRS 9 impairment and stage classification. You will lead regulatory reporting, asset quality monitoring, and policy refinement to balance growth with risk. You’ll work closely with management to provide risk insights and ensure compliance with EBA guidelines and applicable accounting standards. This role focuses on interpreting PD, LGD, and EAD models to support sound credit decisions and effective risk provisioning. You will be based in Rome and contribute to a cross-functional risk management team with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and accuracy.
Responsabilità
- Credit underwriting for Retail and Corporate applicants in line with risk appetite
- Oversee IFRS 9 Stage Management and reclassification processes
- Lead regulatory reporting on asset quality, stage migration, and NPE ratios
- Deliver risk exposure and bad debt reserve discussions to top management
- Monitor portfolio performance and early warning signs of deterioration
- Contribute to policy development and refinement of scoring models
Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum 5+ years in Credit Risk with IFRS 9 impairment framework experience
- Deep understanding of credit risk triggers and criteria for reclassification
- Familiarity with EBA guidelines on non-performing and forborne exposures
- Ability to interpret PD, LGD, and EAD models across credit stages
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal)
