ph3ABOUT LEAF SPACE /h3 pLeaf Space is a leading provider of bGround Station as a Service (GSaaS) /b, enabling satellite operators to communicate with spacecraft through a globally distributed and fully automated ground station network. /p pOur mission is to simplify access to space communications by delivering reliable, scalable and secure ground segment services to customers worldwide. /p h3bJOB OVERVIEW /b /h3 pLeaf Space is looking for a bGround Station Systems Engineer /b to join our Global Infrastructure team and support the technical operations of our worldwide ground station network. /p pIn this role, you will ensure the reliability, performance and operational readiness of our antenna infrastructure by supporting troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning and new site deployments. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, AIT and external partners, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our global ground segment while helping deliver reliable satellite communications services to customers worldwide. /p pThis position combines hands‑on engineering, site operations and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast‑growing international space company. /p h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 h3Ground Segment Engineering /h3 ul lipTroubleshoot antenna and ground station issues, coordinating with service providers, on‑site teams and equipment manufacturers. /p /li lipDevelop and execute troubleshooting and validation procedures for antenna and ground station systems. /p /li lipSupport maintenance planning and corrective actions to maximise ground station availability. /p /li lipParticipate in technical investigations and root cause analysis. /p /li lipPrepare technical documentation, operational reports and engineering recommendations. /p /li /ul h3Site Operations /h3 ul lipAct as the technical point of contact for operational issues affecting active sites. /p /li lipCoordinate maintenance activities with site hosts and infrastructure providers. /p /li lipMonitor infrastructure status, availability and operational performance.



/p /li lipMaintain accurate documentation of site configurations and infrastructure assets. /p /li /ul h3Deployment Commissioning /h3 ul lipSupport new ground station deployments and commissioning activities worldwide. /p /li lipParticipate in site surveys and RF assessments. /p /li lipCoordinate installation readiness together with Operations and AIT teams. /p /li lipSupport antenna dismantling and equipment recovery activities. /p /li /ul h3Continuous Improvement /h3 ul lipAnalyse site performance data and identify improvement opportunities. /p /li lipSupport reliability and infrastructure hardening initiatives. /p /li lipContribute to engineering best practices and operational procedures. /p /li lipSupport internal projects related to network expansion and infrastructure optimisation. /p /li /ul h3QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE /h3 h3Education /h3 pBachelor's or Master's degree in: /p ul lipTelecommunications Engineering /p /li lipElectronic Engineering /p /li lipAerospace Engineering /p /li lipElectrical Engineering /p /li lipor related discipline. /p /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul lipAround b3-5 years /b of experience in: /p ul lipGround Segment Engineering /p /li lipSatellite Communications /p /li lipRF Systems /p /li lipSite Operations /p /li lipAntenna Systems /p /li /ul /li /ul pExperience within the space industry is considered an advantage.
