YOUR ROLE /b /pulliYou will join a technical team working on the development and evolution of a modern data platform based on Databricks. /liliYou will work as a bData Engineer /b, focusing on data ingestion, transformation and integration rather than data analysis or frontend reporting. /liliYou will be responsible for designing and implementing data ingestion pipelines and processes within the Databricks environment. /liliYou will contribute to the migration of legacy code and data processes towards the new data platform. /liliYou will work extensively with SQL to analyze, transform and migrate existing data processes. /liliYou will collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders to ensure data is correctly ingested, transformed and made available for downstream applications. /liliYou will work in a fully remote, international environment, contributing to challenging data engineering and data platform projects. /liliYou will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in modern data architectures, Databricks and cloud-based data platforms. /li /ulpbr/ppb?️ 2. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES /b /pulliDesign, develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Databricks. /liliDevelop data transformation and integration processes within the data platform. /liliIngest data from different sources into the new data platform. /liliAnalyze existing legacy processes and migrate legacy SQL code and data workflows to the new platform.



/liliWrite, optimize and maintain complex SQL queries. /liliEnsure data quality, consistency and reliability throughout ingestion and transformation processes. /liliTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and data processing. /liliCollaborate with other Data Engineers, developers and technical stakeholders. /liliSupport the evolution and optimization of the data platform. /liliDocument data pipelines, processes and technical solutions. /liliSupport the integration of data with downstream applications and reporting tools. /liliWhen required, collaborate with Power BI specialists or frontend teams to ensure the correct availability of data for reporting purposes. /li /ulpbr/ppb✅ 3. REQUIREMENTS /b /pulliAt least b3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer /b. /liliSolid and proven experience with bDatabricks /b in a Data Engineering environment. /liliExperience with bdata ingestion, data pipelines and data transformation /b. /liliStrong knowledge of bSQL /b and experience working with complex queries and data transformations. /liliExperience in migrating legacy code or data processes to modern data platforms. /liliGood understanding of data engineering concepts and modern data platforms. /liliAbility to troubleshoot data-related technical issues. /liliGood analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliFluent bEnglish /b. /liliItalian language skills are considered a strong plus. /liliAbility to work independently in a fully remote environment. /liliAvailability to work full-time. /li /ulpbThe following will be considered a plus:



/b /pulliExperience with Power BI. /liliExperience in developing datasets or data models for reporting purposes. /liliKnowledge of cloud-based data architectures. /liliExperience with ETL/ELT processes. /liliFamiliarity with data lake or lakehouse architectures. /liliExperience with additional Databricks technologies and tools. /liliExperience in large-scale data migration projects. /liliKnowledge of Python or other programming languages commonly used in data engineering. /li /ulpbr/ppb WORKING MODE /b /pulliFull Remote. /liliFull-time position. /liliCollaboration with international technical teams. /liliPossibility to work on innovative projects focused on data platforms and data engineering. /li /ulpbr/ppb 4. WHAT WE OFFER /b /pulliThe daily rate for this role ranges from €200 to €220. The position is offered under a VAT-registered freelance collaboration (P.IVA). Placement within the range will be determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role and the outcome of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria.
