ppOcean Export Operations Supervisor /p /brpUS Relocation Opportunity /p /brpAn international company operating in the freight forwarding and international logistics industry is looking for an experienced Ocean Export Operations Supervisor to join its U.S. office and operations team. /p /brpThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and is interested and available to relocate to the United States and work from the company’s U.S. office. /p /brpThe ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in ocean export operations, preferably within a freight forwarding company or NVOCC, and will have progressed from a hands‑on operational role into a position involving team coordination and supervision. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliCoordinate and supervise day-to-day ocean export operations. /li /brliEnsure shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time, in line with company procedures and customer requirements. /li /brliOversee the preparation and management of export documentation. /li /brliIdentify and resolve operational issues throughout the shipping process. /li /brliMonitor activities to ensure a consistently high level of customer service. /li /brliLead, support, and develop the operations team. /li /brliWork closely with customers, vendors, ocean carriers, agents, and internal teams. /li /brliProvide hands‑on support in complex or critical situations and step in directly when needed. /li /brliIdentify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve processes and service quality.



/li /brliThe responsibilities described above are not intended to be exhaustive and may be subject to change based on business needs. /li /br /ul /brh3Requirements /h3 /brul /brli5–10 years of experience in ocean export operations within the freight forwarding / international logistics industry. /li /brliExperience with a freight forwarding company or NVOCC. /li /brliStrong hands‑on knowledge of ocean export processes and related documentation. /li /brliCareer progression from an operational role into a position with team leadership or supervisory responsibilities. /li /brliPrevious experience coordinating, leading, or supervising an operations team. /li /brliProven ability to troubleshoot operational issues and make timely decisions. /li /brliStrong organizational skills and attention to detail. /li /brliCustomer- and service-oriented mindset. /li /brliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. /li /brliGood command of English, both written and spoken. /li /brliWillingness and availability to relocate to the United States. /li /br /ul /brh3Ideal Candidate /h3 /brpWe are looking for a hands‑on ocean export professional with strong operational expertise and experience developed directly in the freight forwarding industry. This is not an exclusively managerial position.
