pSodecia is looking for a strongCommodity Buyer /strong to join our Global Purchasing team and manage the sourcing of strongsurface treatment, chemical, and external processing commodities /strong across our international operations. /ppIn this role, you will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost competitiveness, and supporting new project launches while ensuring quality, delivery, and operational excellence. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliLead sourcing activities including RFIs, RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management. /liliDevelop and execute commodity strategies for coatings, heat treatment, welding, chemicals, and external services. /liliSupport project launches by ensuring supplier readiness, capacity, timing, and cost targets. /liliConduct market analysis, benchmarking, and cost optimization initiatives. /liliCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Project teams to drive sourcing decisions. /liliManage supplier performance, development, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives. /liliSupport APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality requirements. /liliEnsure compliance with Sodecia#39;s sourcing procedures and governance processes. /liliMaintain purchasing data and supplier information within ERP and procurement platforms. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongCommodity Scope /strong /pulliE-Coating (Cathodic E-Coat) /liliPowder, Liquid and Epoxy Painting /liliZinc Plating,
