pAngelini Technologies - Fameccanica is seeking a bSoftware Design Engineer /b to join its Automation Converting Engineering team. /ppbr/ppBased on the candidate’s individual skills and aptitudes, the successful applicant may join one of the following areas: /pullibPlatforming Engineering Tools: /b development and maintenance of configurators, templates, software libraries, and EPLAN macros supporting hardware and software engineering activities. /lilibAutomation Motion Control: /b programming of automation systems, development of motion control solutions, and use of Rockwell technologies for projects delivered to international customers. /li /ulpbr/ppThe successful candidate will work in a technical, multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with software and hardware engineers, automation specialists, Platforming and prototyping teams and—depending on the area of assignment—with customers and production personnel. /ppbr/ppbKEY RESPONSIBILITIES /b /ppbPlatforming Engineering Tools /b /pulliDevelop and maintain configurators and applications supporting engineering activities. /liliCreate and update templates, software libraries, and EPLAN macros. /liliDevelop C# applications using object-oriented programming principles. /liliContribute to the standardization and integration of hardware and software engineering processes. /liliCollaborate with engineering and prototyping teams to gather requirements and improve the tools they use. /li /ulpbr/ppbAutomation Motion Control /b /pulliProgram and configure industrial automation systems, primarily using the Rockwell platform. /liliSupport the development of motion control solutions for industrial machinery and processes. /liliParticipate in system testing, troubleshooting, validation,



and commissioning activities. /liliUse the development environments, standards, and tools adopted by the customer. /liliCollaborate with the customer’s technical contacts and production personnel, including at customer and other off-site locations. /li /ulpbr/ppbGENERAL REQUIREMENTS /b /ppbEducation and Experience /b /pulliBachelor’s or master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. /liliPrevious experience in industrial automation, software programming, or electrical design is preferred. Recent graduates with relevant internship or project experience will also be considered. /li /ulpbr/ppbTechnical and Language Skills /b /pulliUnderstanding of the fundamental principles of industrial automation. /liliKnowledge of software and/or PLC programming fundamentals. /liliStrong analytical, mathematical, and logical reasoning skills. /liliExcellent command of English. /li /ulpbr/ppbSPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS — PLATFORMING ENGINEERING TOOLS /b /pulliKnowledge of object-oriented programming and C#. /liliKnowledge of markup and data interchange languages, such as XML and JSON, for managing macros and libraries. /liliFamiliarity with configurators, templates, and tools used to standardize engineering projects.



/liliKnowledge of version control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps. /li /ulpbr/ppbSPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS — AUTOMATION MOTION CONTROL /b /pulliKnowledge of PLC programming and motion control principles, including knowledge gained through academic studies. /liliKnowledge of Rockwell Automation software development platforms; familiarity with Siemens technologies is a plus. /liliAbility to understand industrial machinery and manufacturing processes. /liliCustomer-focused approach and willingness to travel within Italy and internationally. /li /ulpbr/ppCandidates are not expected to be familiar with every technology listed above.
