Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager, RME Amazon LogisticsAs the site lead for all engineering matters, you will champion safety and drive high equipment availability in a bustling fulfillment site. You’ll mentor the engineering team, implement statutory compliance programs, and collaborate with EU and site teams to plan for growth. You will lead continuous improvement and apply standardized practices to ensure reliable operations. This role offers a chance to shape maintenance culture across a dynamic network and contribute to Amazon’s customer-centric mission. - Lead the engineering team, own annual reporting, and mentor technicians
- Collaborate with site Safety and Site Leadership to implement and audit safety and compliance programs
- Manage headcount with recruitment, supporting Apprentice and Graduate programs
- Implement EU-validated standards and participate in continuous improvement to ensure safety and equipment availability
- Drive preventative maintenance programs and provide high-level support to internal customers
- Experience managing teams or in an operational role
- Experience in program or project management
- Bachelor in Industrial xysqume Engineering (or equivalent)
- Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines
- English and local language communication at CEFR B2 or higher
- Experience with automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems
- Chartered Engineer or working towards it (preferred)
- Full working knowledge of specialized engineering and facilities equipment within Fulfillment Center
- Experience with PLC-based control systems
