ppbJob Description: /b /p pbPosition: /b bOCS Specialist, Italy - Please submit CV in English /b /p pbLocation:Rome /b /p pbReports to: /b** Country Manager - Italy** /p pThe OCS Specialist for Italy will be responsible for the clinical aspects of the Organ Care System (OCS Lung/Liver/Heart) and supports the use of the OCS in Italy and othercountries/geographiesas needed. /p pbESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE: /b /p ul liFollowing hands-on training and OCS Certification in all relevant organ platforms, will apply OCS knowledge during organ retrieval, preservation, transport and assessment according to TransMedics protocols and policies /li liTo the extent allowable by law, works full-time on a variable on-call schedule to ensure coverage of cases that may occur anytime, including nights, weekends and holidays. /li liTravels as needed to clinical sites within EU transplant network and potentially other geographies to support OCS cases as described above. /li liWhile supporting OCS cases, communicates regularly with the TransMedics EU Clinical Programs and Training Lead to relay real time updates and elevate issues /li liSupports national and regional events by providing clinical expertise to the sales team, customers, and prospective customers /li liPrepares (with support and review of senior colleagues) and presents internal case reviews following the use of OCS /li liManages equipment stored at logistics hub in Rome on a weekly basis (preventative maintenance, inventory counts and testing) /li liMay support site initiation,



assist with refresher training and provide clinical guidance to clinical users /li liCollaborates with cross-functional TransMedics departments in driving adoption of the OCS technology in the Italian market and potentially beyond /li liAssists with delivering training to the sales team about OCS functionality /li liConducts literature analysis and presents findings to management /li liConducts market and competitive analysis /li liMay attend national and international congresses /li liPerforms other TransMedics tasks and duties as required /li /ul pbREQUIREMENTS: /b /p ul liMust be fluent in written and spoken Italian and English /li liMust reside close to one of the hubs /li liMust hold a degree in Techniques of Cardiocirculatory Pathophysiology and Vascular Perfusion (or equivalent) plus at least 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting or BSN with experience in CVICU, CVOR, CATH LAB, ED, or Transplant or equivalent combination of education and experience /li liMust be highly flexible and willing to support sites on nights, holidays and weekends, as needed /li liMust be detail oriented with strong organizational skills /li liOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to establish and maintain long term trusted relationships (internally and externally)
