pThis is an opportunity to take full technical ownership of the secondary engineering scope on complex HV substation projects, working from concept design through to execution. You will play a key role in delivering reliable protection, control, communication, and auxiliary systems that support critical energy infrastructure across the Netherlands. /ppbr/ppbThe Role /b /ppAs Senior Secondary Design Engineer, you will lead the detailed secondary engineering on HV substation projects up to 500kV. Your work covers the full scope of secondary systems including protection philosophies, control narratives, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, auxiliary power systems, and substation communication networks. You will be involved from early concept design through to detailed execution and your technical ownership of deliverables is expected throughout. /ppbr/ppbYour Responsibilities /b /pulliLeading detailed secondary engineering for HV substations up to 400kV. /liliDeveloping protection philosophies, functional specifications, and control narratives. /liliDesigning protection and control schemes, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts. /liliPerforming AC and DC calculations, CT and VT sizing, cable sizing, and relay selection. /liliEngineering auxiliary power systems and substation communication networks. /liliCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complete, high-quality engineering packages. /li /ulpbr/ppbWhat We’re Looking for /b /pulli10 or more years of experience in secondary engineering for HV substations. /liliStrong experience in protection and control design with proven expertise in panel design, wiring, and schematic drawings.
/liliSolid knowledge of protection relays, telecom systems, and LAN networks. /liliExperience with detailed engineering of transmission infrastructure. /liliFluent in English, both written and spoken. /liliIEC 61850 experience. /liliBattery sizing knowledge. /liliMedium-voltage project experience. /liliELCAD-AUCOPLAN experience. /li /ulpbr/ppIf you do not meet every requirement but have a strong electrical engineering background with relevant industrial experience, we still encourage you to apply.
