ASR is committed to accelerating business growth by providing customised service and innovative insurance products to enable development. /p h3Role Purpose: /h3 pTo maintain, improve and report ASR's exposure aggregation and accumulation view across specialty portfolios, ensuring that exposure data is accurate, complete, well-controlled and decision-useful. /p pThe role will own key dashboard, data quality, data augmentation, monitoring and reporting activities, while supporting RDS development and event response analysis for the Exposure Management Lead, underwriters, senior management and external stakeholders. /p h3Role Responsibilities: /h3 ul liAggregation and accumulation monitoring: monitor exposure concentrations by country, region, peril, line of business, policy, insured, location and other relevant dimensions against agreed appetite and escalation thresholds. /li liDashboard maintenance: maintain and enhance Exposure Management dashboards, ensuring MI is accurate, timely, user-friendly and aligned with reporting requirements. /li liData quality controls: perform regular data quality checks across exposure, policy and location data, including TIV, limits, line size, country coding, geocoding, inception/expiry, policy status,



occupancy and construction fields. /li liData augmentation: support enrichment of exposure datasets through country standardisation, geocoding outputs, administrative region mapping, CRESTA/region allocation, peril flags and other exposure-risk attributes. /li liReporting production: prepare monthly and ad hoc exposure reports, including country aggregations, top exposures, line-of-business views, appetite monitoring, RDS outputs and modelled-loss summaries where relevant. /li liRDS controls and reporting: support RDS scenario data capture, exposure roll-ups, control checks, reporting packs and documentation for realistic disaster scenario monitoring. /li liEvent response: support live and post-event analysis by identifying exposed policies/locations, estimating potential exposure or loss impact, producing event response reports. /li liProcess improvement: identify opportunities to streamline SQL views, Power BI datasets, Excel controls and recurring reporting processes to improve reliability and reduce manual intervention. /li liStakeholder engagement: work closely with underwriting, pricing, operations, claims, actuarial, finance and IT/data teams to resolve data issues and improve the quality of exposure capture. /li liGovernance support: maintain evidence of controls, reconciliations, data quality actions, reporting sign-offs and escalation decisions to support internal governance and external reviews. /li /ul h3Skills Experience: /h3 pEssential:



/p ul liRecent graduate or early-career analyst with a degree, or equivalent, in data science, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, economics, finance, computer science, geography, GIS, business analytics or another analytical discipline. /li liStrong Excel and data-handling skills, with the ability to organise, clean, reconcile and analyse large datasets accurately. /li liExposure to SQL, Power BI, Python, R, Power Query, DAX or similar data/reporting tools, gained through university, projects, internships or work experience. /li liGood numeracy and analytical judgement, with the ability to spot data anomalies, investigate differences and explain findings clearly. /li liStructured approach to working with policy, location, exposure and reporting data, including field definitions, data checks and control evidence. /li liInterest in insurance/reinsurance, portfolio monitoring, accumulation control, natural hazards or emerging-market risk. /li liClear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise dashboard commentary and reporting notes. /li liOrganised, reliable and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage repeatable monthly tasks, deadlines and follow-up actions. /li /ul pDesirable: /p ul liInternship, placement, dissertation or project experience in data analytics, business intelligence, risk, insurance, finance, GIS or reporting. /li liFamiliarity with Power BI, Tableau or another dashboarding/data visualisation tool. /li liBasic understanding of databases, joins, data cleaning, geocoding, coordinates or administrative region mapping. /li liExposure to coding or automation in Python, R, SQL, VBA or similar would be helpful, but is not required. /li liInterest in event response, natural catastrophe/news monitoring and turning data into short management updates. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
