pPE Global Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Construction Manager to join our client on a Data Centre project in Italy. This is a tempo pieno, permanent role based in Bertonico. /ppbr / /ppstrongThe Job: /strong /ppThis role will be responsible for managing all Mechanical works on site, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. /ppbr / /ppbr / /ppstrongRequirements /strong /pp - Manage and oversee all Mechanical construction activities across the project lifecycle /pp - Lead day-to-day mechanical site operations in coordination with the wider project team /pp - Ensure QA/QC processes are implemented and maintained in line with project specifications and standards /pp - Coordinate project schedules with Planners, Project Managers, subcontractors, consultants, and design teams /pp - Manage mechanical subcontractor performance, including progress tracking, manpower levels, and coordination meetings /pp - Ensure all subcontractor documentation, including safety documentation, is maintained and up to date /pp - Attend and lead Site Meetings, Engineering Reviews, Planning Meetings, and Handover Meetings /pp - Liaise with the design team to ensure construction information and technical submittals are issued in line with programme requirements /pp - Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure quality, compliance,
and buildability of mechanical systems /pp - Ensure adherence to health safety standards and drive a strong safety culture on site /pp - Support commercial management by tracking variations, managing costs, and attending weekly commercial meetings /pp - Issue progress reports to senior management and the project team /pp - Manage mechanical snagging activities and ensure effective and timely close-out /pp - Proactively identify and resolve technical, design, and coordination issues /ppbr / /ppbr / /ppstrongSkills Qualifications /strong /pp - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar discipline /pp - Minimum 8+ years’ experience within mechanical construction, with a focus on site management /pp - Proven experience managing mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, and associated services) on large-scale construction projects /pp - Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, coordination, and programme delivery /pp - Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills /pp - Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, installation practices, and commissioning processes /pp - Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive project delivery /pp - Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous /ppbr / /ppbr / /p
