The role supports colocation customers with on‑site technical activities and collaborates with the central technical team to perform remote interventions, ensuring high service availability and operational continuity. /p h3Responsibilities of the selected candidate include: /h3 ul liInstallation and rack mounting of servers, switches, and storage devices within Datacenter racks. /li liStructured cabling activities (network, power, fiber, and copper) between servers, switches, and storage equipment. /li liOn‑site technical support for colocation customers, performing interventions on dedicated racks as required. /li liRemote hands support for the central technical team in hardware maintenance activities, including:
ul liReplacement of failed hard drives. /li liReplacement of faulty RAM modules. /li liReplacement or restoration of other defective hardware components. /li liTroubleshooting and restoration of malfunctioning cabling. /li /ul /li liVerification of the correct operation of equipment following each intervention. /li liCompliance with Datacenter security procedures and access control policies. /li liDocumentation of completed activities through tickets and technical reports. /li liParticipation in a 24/7 on‑call support rotation with other team members, handling urgent interventions outside regular working hours when required. /li /ul h3The ideal candidate meets the following requirements: /h3 h3Hard Skills: /h3 ul liBasic knowledge of server, storage, and networking infrastructures. /li liExperience, even at an entry level, in hardware installation and cabling activities. /li liFamiliarity with hardware components such as hard drives, RAM modules, power supplies, and network interface cards. /li liAbility to read and interpret cabling diagrams and technical documentation. /li liBasic knowledge of networking, including patch panels, switches, and structured cabling systems (Cat6 and fiber optic). /li /ul h3Soft Skills: /h3 ul liAccuracy and strong attention to detail. /li liAbility to work effectively by following procedures, standards, and checklists. /li liProblem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when performing remotely guided interventions. /li liGood communication skills,
with the ability to interact professionally with colocation customers. /li liAvailability to travel between the Siziano and Cornaredo sites as required. /li liReliability, responsiveness, and a high level of operational readiness during on‑call duty rotations. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications: /h3 ul liTechnical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent. /li liPrevious experience in a Datacenter, NOC (Network Operations Center), or similar operational environment. /li liBasic technical English proficiency, with the ability to understand and work with technical documentation and support tickets. /li liValid Category B driving license, with willingness to travel between company sites as required. /li liWorking schedule defined according to the operational needs of the Datacenter environment. /li liParticipation in a 24/7 rotating on‑call service to ensure timely management of incidents and critical interventions outside normal business hours. /li liRequirement to remain reachable by phone and to be able to access the Datacenter within the response times established by company policies and applicable service level agreements (SLAs). /li /ul h3Why Join Us: /h3 pWe believe people perform at their best when they can grow, collaborate and maintain a healthy work‑life balance.
