This position requires a strong understanding of structural engineering, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to industry standards. /p h3bKey Accountabilities /b /h3 pbBridge Design and Analysis /b: /p ulliDesign and analyze bridge structures, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity, materials, and environmental impact; /liliutilize engineering software and tools to model and simulate bridge behavior under different conditions. /li /ul pbProject Planning /b: /p ulliCollaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to develop comprehensive plans for bridge projects; /liliprovide input on timelines, resource requirements, and budget considerations. /li /ul pbRegulatory Compliance /b: /p ulliEnsure that bridge designs and construction adhere to local, state, and national codes and regulations; /lilistay informed about changes in standards and implement updates as necessary. /li /ul pbStructural Assessments /b: /p ulliConduct inspections and assessments of existing bridges to evaluate structural integrity and identify maintenance or rehabilitation needs; /liliprovide recommendations for repairs or upgrades based on assessments. /li /ul pbCollaboration and Coordination /b: /p ulliWork closely with architects, geotechnical engineers,
and construction teams to integrate bridge designs into overall infrastructure projects; /lilicoordinate with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success. /li /ul pbConstruction Oversight /b: /p ulliMonitor construction activities to ensure that bridge construction aligns with approved designs and engineering specifications; /liliaddress any unforeseen issues or challenges that arise during the construction phase. /li /ul pbDocumentation and Reporting /b: /p ulliMaintain detailed records of design plans, assessments, and construction activities; /liliprepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing project progress and outcomes.br/#LI-RD1 /li /ul h3bEducation /b /h3 pBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering General /p h3bQualifications /b /h3 ulliAt least b5 years of experience /b in bridge design, analysis, and project management, preferably with a focus on transportation infrastructure projects; /liliproficiency in structural analysis software such as bSAP2000 /b, bLARSA /b, or bMIDAS Civil /b for modeling and simulating bridge behavior; /lilistrong knowledge of engineering principles and techniques related to bridge design, including load-bearing capacity, materials selection, and environmental impact assessment; /lilifamiliarity with relevant design codes and standards such as AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, Eurocodes, and local building codes; /liliexperience conducting structural assessments and inspections of existing bridges, with the ability to analyze and interpret assessment data; /lilicompetence in using project management tools for planning,
