Global Workplace Operations Specialist

Position

MSC Technology is looking for an experienced Global Workplace Operations Specialist to join its Global IT Workplace Operations team in Turin, Italy

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and operating the company’s global workplace environment, ensuring effective incident resolution, application support, endpoint management, and a high-quality end-user experience.

The role will act as an escalation point for Local IT teams and the Global Service Desk, working closely with Global Workplace Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and external technology vendors to troubleshoot complex issues, support application releases and changes, and continuously improve workplace services.

This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in end-user computing and workplace technologies, strong troubleshooting capabilities, a service-oriented mindset, and a passion for technology and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for the global workplace environment,



including Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Citrix, Printix, PCs, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Resolve incidents escalated by Local IT teams and the Global Service Desk, independently troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, and application‑related issues.
- Track incidents and service requests through resolution, identifying and escalating situations requiring urgent attention when necessary.
- Support the administration, testing, installation, deployment, release, and change management of workplace applications and services.
- Work closely with Global Workplace SMEs and third‑party technology vendors such as Microsoft and Dell to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Support and train Local IT teams and the Global Service Desk, sharing technical expertise and maintaining procedures, knowledge base articles, and “How‑to” documentation.
- Contribute to IT asset management and IT
