Global Demand Planning Associate

Overview:
We are looking for a Global Demand Planning Associate to support the execution of the Global Demand Planning process for the Menarini Group. The hire will replace the existing colleague for the duration of her maternity leave.
Main Activities & Responsibilities:
- Support the S&OP; demand process by monitoring the timely execution of all the phases of the process.
- Participate in the monthly Demand Review Meetings with all the Regions of the group and provide support in the correct execution of the demand-related processes.
- Challenge Sales Forecasts Accuracy and Bias coming from the Affiliates and Regional hubs and review the relevant KPIs ensuring CAPA plans and continuous improvement actions are taken.
- Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast dynamics.
- Use and maintain the Demand netting softwares.
- Work in close contact with regional and local teams, assure that the Sales Forecast and Net Demand Plans are consistent with the real market trends.
- Provide support to the local and regional demand planning teams in the Safety Stock review process.
- Support the stakeholders involved in the calculation of the Stockout and Lost Sales KPIs and support the execution and follow up of preventive actions to avoid stockouts.
- Support the analysis of the 5 year plan and budget plan.
- Support new product launches at corporate level.
Job Requirements:
Education
Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or Computer Science
Knowledge
- Proficient knowledge:
- Demand Planning fundamentals
- Key Demand Planning and Inventory KPIs
- The role Demand Planning plays in the S&OP; process and its importance
- Planning systems and software
- Reporting tools
- Excel and Power Point
- Basic Knowledge:
- APO and SAP
- Fluent in English
Experience
- 1/3 years of experience in similar roles, supply chain, forecasting and demand planning in an international company with a complex structure
