ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Supplier Quality Senior Specialist to join our organization and support the development of new vehicle programs and engine systems.
In this role, you will ensure the quality and robustness of supplier manufacturing processes for direct materials, working closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Platform Teams, and Suppliers throughout the product development lifecycle. You will play a key role in driving supplier performance, ensuring compliance with IVECO Group standards,
and supporting continuous improvement across the supply base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier quality activities for new product development programs, ensuring compliance with APQP and PPAP requirements.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Engineering teams during supplier sourcing and industrialization phases.
- Assess and approve supplier manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with IVECO Group quality targets and industry standards.
- Manage supplier quality issues affecting production plants, pre-delivery vehicles, and field performance.
- Conduct process audits (PA) and supplier assessments (PPAP) to verify process capability, stability, and compliance.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective action implementation using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base.
