L1 Desktop & Network Support Engineers

Tentative Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 1 Year

Language Requirements: Italian and English

Brainotechs is seeking proactive and customer-focused L1 Desktop & Network Support Engineers to provide onsite IT infrastructure support on customer locations in the Spain. The engineer will be responsible for desktop support, basic network troubleshooting, hardware break/fix, IMACD activities, and coordination with remote support teams to ensure timely incident resolution while meeting SLA requirements.

Requirements

~1–3 years of experience in Desktop Support or Field IT Support.

~ Knowledge of Windows 10⁄11 , Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Active Directory basics, and networking fundamentals.

~ Experience with desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting and peripheral support.

~ Basic understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi.

~ Experience with hardware installation, diagnostics, break/fix,



and IMACD activities.

~ Ability to perform rack & stack, cable patching, port activation, cable tracing, and hardware installation activities.

~ Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

~ Ability to work independently at customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, ITIL Foundation, CCNA, or equivalent certifications.

Experience in onsite field support or managed IT services.

Experience with ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, or similar ticketing tools.

Familiarity with Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, and other enterprise hardware.

Knowledge of IT asset management and documentation.

Strong customer-facing communication skills.

Flexibility to work according to customer site operating hours and rotational/on-call schedules.
