1 Pre-Doc Research Scholar position – Enhancing neighbourhood sustainability and climate resilience through local innovation
Are you interested in local innovation and how it can boost neighbourhood transformation towards sustainability, climate resilience, beauty and social inclusion?
Bocconi University is looking for motivated and qualified talents in Economics or Finance to fill 1 full-time position as Pre-Doc Research Scholar on this topic.
The scholar will be part of a multidisciplinary and dynamic work environment, with the opportunity to take part in cutting-edge research activities within the EU Horizon Project "BRICKS - Building Resilient Innovation in Communities through Knowledge & Social innovation" (Grant Agreement no. ).
BRICKS will test a range of business models for neighbourhood transformation through a transdisciplinary approach combining participatory design,
socio-economic assessment, entrepreneurial practices, and civic engagement. The project will generate new scientific evidence, policy recommendations, and scalable models to enable sustainable neighbourhood transformations and enhance their attractiveness for investment.
You will contribute to the following research activities: map evaluation approaches and indicators for local sustainability initiatives; analyse business models and financing models of local sustainability and climate adaptation initiatives; data collection and analysis.
