Sourcing Analyst

Sidel is looking for a motivated and analytical intern to support the Gearmotors & Transmission Sourcing team within the Commercial Components organization. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the end-to-end purchasing pro-cess, working closely with Engineering and internal stakeholders in a structured industrial environment. The intern will contribute directly to sourcing activities and to the development of the Category Strategy for Gearmotors & Transmission, with the possibility to develop a thesis project aligned with sourcing strategy topics.
Your Mission:
- Support the end-to-end purchasing flow for Gearmotors & Transmission components;
- Collaborate with Engineering to support sourcing needs and identify improvement opportunities
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Category Strategy for commercial components;
- Support RFQ (Request for Quotation) activities, including quotation collection and consolidation;
- Analyze supplier quotations and support cost comparison and sourcing optimization analyses;
- Manage and update supplier price lists and sourcing databases;
- Support supplier spend analysis and reporting activities;
- Create and maintain dashboards and sourcing reports to support decision-making.
This is a full-time, 6-month internship.
Your Profile:
- Student in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering;
- Proficient in English (Italian is mandatory);
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Interest in sourcing, procurement and industrial components;
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail;
- Well-organized and proactive;
- Willing to learn and work in a cross-functional team.
