We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to prepare, cook and present dishes in your assigned section following Gio Gio's standards with the help of Commis Chef and Demi Chef De Partie. As per your experience, provide extra support to junior positions. Chef requirements
- Operations: Maintain mise-en-place and kitchen workflow, supervise junior staff, monitor incoming goods and minimize wastage, uphold Gio Gio’s standards for quality, consistency, and safety, and adapt flexibly to operational changes.
- Duties & Values:
Deliver an exceptional guest experience by embodying Gio Gio’s values—treating colleagues and guests like family, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment, staying punctual, professional, and approachable, and continuously developing personal and team skills.
- Communication: Participate actively in briefings, report transparently, and ensure a smooth flow of information across the team.
- Qualifications & Experience: Culinary Arts certificate, basic food hygiene certification, bakery/pastry qualifications, minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, previous experience in a similar position.
- Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts, experience in French/Mediterranean or Michelin-starred restaurants.
