ppbOVERALL MISSION /b The Facility Construction Supervisor (FCS) is responsible for the development of retail projects for Hermès in Italy and Greece, and for the facility management of the stores of the subsidiary. The FCS plans, manages, and executes new store openings, extraordinary renovations and restyling projects. The FCS collaborates with architects, consultants, contractors, and all external and internal stakeholders (e.g. Operations, Visual, etc.) to ensure the projects are properly executed in compliance with Maison standards of excellence. Moreover, the FCS supervises the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of all the stores in the subsidiary. /p pbOVERALL MISSION /b The Facility Construction Supervisor (FCS) is responsible for the development of retail projects for Hermès in Italy and Greece, and for the facility management of the stores of the subsidiary. The FCS plans, manages, and executes new store openings, extraordinary renovations and restyling projects. The FCS collaborates with architects, consultants, contractors, and all external and internal stakeholders (e.g. Operations, Visual, etc.) to ensure the projects are properly executed in compliance with Maison standards of excellence. Moreover, the FCS supervises the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of all the stores in the subsidiary. Responsibilities include coordinating store layout improvements consisting of store configurations or upgrades of existing stores; the supervision and accountability of project budgets, schedules and project design; and consulting retail teams to ensure requirements are incorporated into the project and critical timelines and project information are communicated. The FCS oversees the construction and completion of each location to ensure quality standards are met in a timely and cost-effective way. Moreover, the FCS supervises and supports the Facility Coordinator/Specialist in managing the maintenance of store systems, external warehouses, and the headquarters, ensuring buildings are maintained clean, functional and aligned with excellent quality standards. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liProject Management ul liDraft the store brief in the preliminary stages of the project; /li liDevelop comprehensive project plans, timelines and schedules from groundbreaking to store opening; /li liWork closely with the financial controller to assist with the overall planning; /li liHave budget accountability for the projects at hand; monitor construction costs, review invoices, manage change orders,
and minimize overspending; /li liEnsure the strip-out of former locations and their return to the landlord. /li /ul /li liVendor Contractor Management ul liNegotiate contracts with external vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors; /li liConduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design standards; /li liLiase with the safety consultant to enforce Health Safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment. /li /ul /li liRetail coordination ul liCooperate with the EME Hermès Construction Team and RDAI about the store concept; /li liReview the store layout and project milestone with the Retail Director and the General Manager; /li liCoordinate fixtures, signages and merchandising installations to ensure the store is ready for sales operations; /li liWork in alignment with operations to ensure adequate stock allocation and proper warehouse organization; /li liLiase with HR department for the optimization of staff areas (i.e. changing rooms, offices and welfare areas); /li liOrganize cross-functional activities with the IT department regarding all informatic systems (wi-fi, CCTV, POS, tills, etc.); /li liEnsure alignment with security guidelines; /li liProject the artistic heritage of the Maison in the stores. /li /ul /li liFacility management ul liDesign the facility management strategy; set and monitor yearly goals and expectations; develop a culture of excellence and continuous improvement for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance; /li liPlan and monitor facility management monthly and yearly activities; /li liSupervise and is accountable for the activity of the Facility Coordinator / Specialist /li liManage extraordinary interventions and is responsible for their implementation; budget adherence and respect of the timeline to minimize business closure; /li liEnsure alignment with stakeholders at EME and Group level. /li /ul /li liPeople management ul liPlan yearly activities, setting expectations and assigning tasks to the Facility Coordinator/Specialist; /li liSupervise the monthly and yearly activities of the Facility Coordinator/Specialist and provide ongoing feedback and coaching,
supporting his/her personal development; /li liSupport the Facility Coordinator/Specialist in the execution of his/her work. /li /ul /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul liProven experience in luxury retail project management; /li liUniversity degree in Architecture, or Interior Design, or Construction (preferred); /li liAbility to manage multi projects at the same time; /li liInternal team coordination experience; /li liExtremely organized, detail and deadline oriented. Rigorous, reliable and pragmatic.
