Role and Responsibilities:
The role and responsibilities would cover different areas in the Business Area:
Develop engineering (process and equipment) mainly for sludge and waste infrastructure projects: heat and energy balance, equipment specifications.
Lead sustainability roadmap and sustainable Development initiatives in the Business Area, reporting to Director of Operations: GHG reduction plan.
Referent of the business area toward the headquarter Sustainable Development team.
Contribute to decarbonization initiatives for our clients, in cooperation with managers of infrastructure projects, operation & maintenance as well as concessions, to increase positive impact of our activities: optimization of process performance of plants, energy savings on equipment & networks, circular loop and waste recovery, etc.
Support the proposal team for Energy efficiency in public tenders and in thermal treatment projects. General Requirements:
Process engineer with an environmental background and experience in waste and sludge thermal treatment.
5+ year job experience at least
Education Requirements:
M.Sc. in Chemical/Energy / Environment engineering or equivalent.
Languages required:
Italian: Fluent
English: Good Proficiency
French: Good proficiency would be appreciated (Plus)
Required Technical Skills:
- Robust knowledge in Process Engineering applied to waste treatment.
- Proficient in the process knowledge of gasification and combustion of solid wastes and sludge mud. • Basic knowledge in environmental impact assessment (with focus on GHG emission assessment).
- Familiarity with the latest technologies in waste transformation, such as waste to chemicals and waste to fuels.
- Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
Required Behavior Skills:
- Excellent in coordination, team working, and communication.
- Organized and autonomous.
- Curiosity, desire to learn.
