Network AdminstratorConnect Group are supporting a global organisation in their search for a Network Administrator to join their European team. This role will be tempo pieno on site in Milan.You’ll be part of a forward-thinking IT function, working on high-profile projects with senior leadership visibility, while also supporting day-to-day infrastructure operations across networks, systems, and regional services.What you’ll be doingDelivering the global IT roadmap for Network and Client Services within the region.Acting as the main escalation point for regional network and client services issues.Managing and administering Azure and VMware server environments.Monitoring and maintaining WAN connectivity and branch communications.Supporting Microsoft Exchange, M365, Azure AD, and Active Directory.Overseeing and coordinating with local IT vendors and 3rd party support.Assisting with infrastructure projects including network design, security, and capacity planning.Supporting warehouse operations (RF devices, Zebra printers,
mobile devices)Working closely with global IT teams and business stakeholders on high-visibility projects.What we’re looking for5+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure and network engineering.Strong knowledge of Layer 2 & 3 networking (VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, LACP).Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.Experience with Cisco routing/switching, VPN technologies, and wireless networking.Microsoft ecosystem knowledge (Azure AD, M365, Exchange, DNS/DHCP).Cisco CCNA and Fortinet certifications are a huge plus.A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.Willingness to travel (up to 50) - once a month on average.What’s on offerSalary up to €50,000 per annum.A chance to work on high-profile global IT projects with senior leadership exposure.Career growth opportunities within a global environment.
