We are looking for a young and motivated Supply Quality Engineer Intern.

1. Scope

The SQE Intern supports Supplier Quality Engineering activities by assisting in monitoring supplier industrial performance during mass production and contributing to supplier readiness during launch phases. Working under the supervision of senior SQEs, the intern gains exposure to supplier plants, quality processes and industrialization activities across the product lifecycle.

2. Activity

• Support supplier plant assessments for new suppliers according to NSA (New Supplier Assessment) guidelines by collecting data and preparing assessment inputs.

• Assist in providing information on supplier industrial performance to the Commodity Quality Champion (CQC) for current suppliers.

• Support industrialization activities of parts during the development phase by tracking requested supplier deliverables and ensuring consistency of documentation.

• Assist senior SQEs in monitoring supplier readiness at launch by following open points and reporting status.

• Contribute to activities related to greenfield suppliers (new supplier plants) through data collection and performance tracking.





• Support qualification activities for product and process for parts or suppliers flagged as high risk, in alignment with the project RASI.

• Help measure supplier production capacity based on data provided by the project buyer and support reporting activities.

• Assist in monitoring supplier industrial performance in mass production and contribute to continuous improvement tracking.

• Support the review of lessons learned and risk management actions, ensuring information is shared with the CQC.

3. Required knowledge

- Master’s degree in Engineering
- English language proficiency (C1)
- Italian fluency is considered as a strong plus
- Availability for business trip on a regular basis

4. Skills

- Knowledge of quality methods and tool box operational practice
- Process knowledge: project/program management, industrialization processes for the concerned technical scope, supply chain
- Knowledge and/or passion for automotive products and technologies
- Proactive and results-driven
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high-change environment with complex supplier and technical challenges.
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to work in autonomy
- Analytical and synthesis skills
- SAP & Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
