With more than sixty years of expertise and operations in major countries around the globe, our building systems have been specified for many of the world’s most advanced and prestigious buildings. /ppbr/ppbr/ppbSenior Special Projects Façade Engineering Manager (m/f) /b /ppbr/ppUnder the responsibility of the Group RD Director, the Special projects and façade technical manager will work on some of the most technically demanding and architecturally ambitious projects across AluK's worldwide network. /ppHe will take full ownership of complex international projects from concept definition to final validation and implementation by providing technical, economical and managerial skills to AluK’s global organization. /ppbr/ppResponsibilities: /ppbr/ppReporting to the Group RD Director and interacting with AluK business units worldwide, the candidate will be fully responsible of leading complex, non-standard and strategically relevant projects across all development phases, by taking responsibility of the initial concept design, costing, production, testing and validation of the projects. /ppbr/ppThe main tasks will be to: /ppbr/pulliTransform customer requirements into innovative project solutions. /lili Lead and support special and complex international projects with major focus on Curtain Wall and other systems (windows, sliders, doors…)
customization /liliDevelop and validate technical concepts for non-standard customized applications /liliProvide technical feasibility studies and system solutions /liliPrepare and review cost estimations, quotations and BOMs /liliProduce and validate conceptual, catalogue and machining drawings /liliAct as leader interface between RD, Sales, Supply Chain and customers /liliSupport tendering, negotiation and execution phases /liliEstablish and maintain strong customer relationships /liliArrange site visits, testing facility and factory visits when required /liliContribute to improvement and adaptation of AluK systems /liliSupport regulatory compliance and system qualifications /liliEncourage knowledge sharing and best practice transfer and training for other employees /li /ulpbr/ppbProfile: /b /pulliExtensive experience in aluminium systems and international projects /liliDeep knowledge of Curtain Wall systems, Building Envelope Engineering, Façade Design /liliAbility to build credibility and maintain effective relationships with architects, consultants, customers and demanding international stakeholders /liliBachelor's degree in Engineering/ Architectural or equivalent /lili Strong project leadership and coordination background /lili Solid economic and commercial awareness /lili Structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset /lili Customer-focused and professional approach /lili Ability to manage problem issues /lili Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information /lili Set an example to all staff by demonstrating compliance with the company’s procedures and policies and operate within the company controls. /lili Work in a professional and customer friendly manner /li /ulpbr/ppbLanguages: /b /pulliFluent in English.
