The individual will play a key role in defining sourcing strategies and managing strategic suppliers for critical commodities supporting the production of electromechanical systems and industrial equipment. /p pThis role requires strong technical purchasing expertise, negotiation capabilities, and a deep understanding of manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing and supplier management of raw materials, metal parts, electronic components, and plastic components, with responsibility for cost optimization, supplier performance, quality, and supply continuity. /p pThe position will work closely with Engineering, RD, Operations, Production Planning, and Quality departments, contributing to both new product development and operational excellence initiatives. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Strategic Procurement Commodity Management /h3 ul liDefine and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodity groups /li liManage supplier portfolios and develop long-term strategic partnerships /li liLead supplier selection, qualification, and performance management activities /li liNegotiate pricing agreements, contracts, payment terms, lead times, and service levels /li liIdentify and execute cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery standards /li liMonitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply chain risks /li /ul h3Technical Purchasing /h3 ul liManage procurement activities related to: /li liRaw Materials /li liMetal Parts and Machined Components /li liSheet Metal and Fabricated Parts /li liElectronic Components (PCBAs, power supplies, sensors, connectors, displays,



motors, etc.) /li liPlastic Components and Injection-Molded Parts /li liAnalyze technical drawings, specifications, BOMs, and manufacturing requirements /li liSupport Engineering and RD teams during supplier selection for new product developments /li liEvaluate supplier technical capabilities and manufacturing processes /li liCollaborate with Engineering on value engineering and design-to-cost initiatives /li liParticipate in product industrialization and supplier development projects /li liEstablish and monitor supplier KPIs related to quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness /li liConduct supplier reviews and performance improvement programs /li liSupport supplier audits together with Quality and Operations teams /li liDevelop risk mitigation and dual sourcing strategies for critical commodities /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply base /li /ul h3Supply Chain Operations Support /h3 ul liEnsure material availability to support production plans and customer commitments /li liManage supplier escalations and critical shortages /li liSupport inventory optimization initiatives and procurement planning activities /li liCoordinate with Production Planning and Operations to improve supply reliability and responsiveness /li liContribute to supply chain resilience and business continuity initiatives /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics,



or related disciplines /li liMinimum 8-10 years of experience in Technical Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Commodity Management within industrial manufacturing environments /li liStrong technical understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal fabrication, plastic injection molding, PCB assembly, and electromechanical systems /li liExperience negotiating with international suppliers and managing global sourcing activities /li liStrong knowledge of cost breakdown analysis and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodologies /li liExperience working with ERP/MRP systems and procurement analytics tools /li liAbility to read and understand technical drawings and engineering documentation /li /ul h3Preferred Experience /h3 ul liExperience in electromechanical, automation, industrial equipment, electronics, automotive, medical devices, payment systems, or high-tech manufacturing sectors /li liExperience managing suppliers across Europe and Asia /li liKnowledge of supplier quality processes and APQP methodologies /li liFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong negotiation and influencing skills /li liExcellent analytical and decision-making capabilities /li liAbility to manage complex supplier relationships and critical negotiations /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills /li liProactive approach and strong sense of ownership /li liAbility to work effectively in cross-functional and international environments /li liResults-oriented with strong accountability and execution focus /li /ul pThe search is open to candidates of all genders, in compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity regulations. /p pCompetitive compensation package, with a gross annual salary range between €50,000 and €80,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall profile. /p pAdditional variable compensation and benefits package included. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
