The job incumbent is responsible for commercial growth of marine and offshore activities in Italy and Monaco, for the products and services of Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore.
The role focuses on expanding market share across new building and in-service segments while strengthening strategic relationships with shipowners, shipyards, designers and all related key stakeholders.The resource will have the responsibility on the following activities:Work closely with M&O; Italy Monaco Director in the growth, development and execution of the Marine and Offshore strategy, including matters related to market access, expanding the market share, participation in tenders & projects and local capability build-up;Provide leadership and guidance on commercial matters to related marine stakeholders, business unit managers and Italy commercial team, foster a cohesive commercial environment to ensure high level of commercial presence;Engage with the Area and Region Marine and Offshore teams to bring support to the local business development initiatives;Identify,
develop opportunities and formulate local strategies to grow Marine and Offshore wind activities;Develop and grow close relationship with Clients and Prospects;Monitor and lead the pursuit and contracting of large Marine and Offshore opportunities;Secure effective cooperation between Industry & Facilities and Marine & Offshore stakeholders, when necessary, for efficient sales and key account management;Ensure compliance with Group, Marine & Offshore commercial guidelines and procedures.Requirements:Demonstrated experience using Salesforce CRM systems in a structured sales environment;Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent;10+ years work experience in marine related industry, of which 5 years in commercial and managerial capacity;Possess strong commercial, networking, negotiation and influencing skills;Ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders;High resilience and motivation;Having a change mindset to create opportunities for tomorrow.What do we offer for the role?
