Major Duties
Produce complete electrical design packages based on customer specifications and standardized design practices used at Client Site and coordinate with the offshore team.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive electrical design packages, including detailed electrical and pneumatic schematics, panel layouts, bills of materials and material requisitions, based on Client standard specifications and the customers' requirements.
Verify that electrical design package is complete, accurate and safe by applying sound design practices and accepted standards, and that the I/O drawings meet program requirements prior to issue to shop floor.
Work with project managers, designers and electricians to solve problems during manufacturing of machinery in order to provide the customer with a complete, functional system.
Be able to correct interfacing and connection of the Machinery with other components and systems, if required.
Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Client Code of Business Conduct.
Have thorough knowledge of machine safety standards like IEC-EN***** etc. and be able to apply the same in the Design.
Be responsible for all client project documents like check list, Compliance and Traceability Matrix, Compliance Checklist, Overtemperature Calculation and Test Electrical Safety (TES) etc.
Qualifications
Education:
A post-secondary technology diploma or engineering degree or equivalent, specializing in electronics, electrical or controls technology.
Language:
Fluency in English and Italian, with the ability to act as a bridge between the on-site and offshore teams.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical control systems design, preferably as a Lead Design Engineer in the machine automation field within the Life Sciences or pharmaceutical domain.
Expert-level proficiency withSPAC Automazione ****, including experience with add-on modules such as the Cable Module and other relevant tools.
Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and apply them effectively.
