Electrical Lead – Data CentreLocation: Rome / Milan, ItalyContract: FreelanceDuration: 12+ MonthsStart: ASAPOverviewWe are currently supporting a major international technology organisation delivering multiple Data Centre projects across Italy.
Due to continued project growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrical Lead to support the construction and delivery of their Data Centre portfolio.
The position will primarily focus on the construction and electrical delivery of projects, working alongside internal project teams, contractors and other technical stakeholders.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the electrical delivery of large-scale Data Centre construction projects.
Oversee electrical works throughout the construction phase.
Ensure works comply with Italian construction regulations, technical requirements and client specifications.
Coordinate with contractors, engineering teams and project stakeholders.
Review technical documentation and electrical installation requirements.
Monitor construction progress, quality and technical compliance.
Support the resolution of electrical and construction-related issues on site.
Work closely with the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery.
RequirementsStrong background as an Electrical Engineer / Electrical Lead.
Previous Data Centre construction experience is required.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction activities.
Good understanding of Italian construction regulations.
Experience working within complex, technically demanding construction environments. GC and/or client-side experience beneficial.
Fluent Italian is essential.
Able to work from Rome or Milan, with Rome preferred. xpdaelo Freelance / contract availability.
