Overview:
We are seeking a motivated intern to support our cost reduction initiatives, focusing primarily on idea generation and the early evaluation phases.
The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop cost-saving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities include:
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to generate and evaluate technical cost reduction ideas
Analyze supplier proposals, specifications, and technical data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Prepare and distribute RFIs (Requests for Information) to gather preliminary information on potential cost reduction solutions
Maintain alignment with Sourcing Areas on Should Cost projects and supplier communications
Support cross-functional communication among teams working on key projects
Track cost reduction initiatives and prepare documentation for handover to execution teams
Update relevant stakeholders on cost targets and potential opportunities
Contribute to the development of the company's overall cost reduction strategy
