A qualified candidate must possess the following:
- Have knowledge of wood working techniques and basic shop mathematics. (ex: add, subtract, multiply, etc...)
- Know how to operate hand and power tools and measuring devices of the carpentry and painting trades.
- The ability to read and follow basic blueprints and sketches.
- Know how to prepare standard surfaces for coating methods and techniques.
- The ability to operate a motor vehicle, can you operate a vehicle in a safe manner.
- The ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
