Our Graphene Integrated Photonics (GIP) offers superior capabilities for next-generation transceivers. At CamGraPhIC in Pisa, Italy we run the 700 sqm Inphotec Graphene Photonics development facility, where our team of industry-leading scientists, process development and photonics engineers are pioneering the design and fabrication of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) incorporating Graphene.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an Analog IC Design Engineer to join a fast-growing team working on the design and development of cutting-edge silicon transceiver solutions for ultra-high bandwidth, low latency optical interconnects targeting generative AI, cellular, and high-bandwidth data transfer applications. You will have a proven track record in designing high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuits for SerDes applications in advanced CMOS FinFET technologies.
What will you be doing?
- Collaborating with photonics, silicon and system engineering teams to develop and optimise proprietary SerDes architectures, including the development of key design specifications
- Designing and developing key SerDes silicon IP such as high bandwidth receive and transmit amplifiers, Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs), Delay-Locked Loops (DLLs), Equalizers (CTLE, DFE, FFE), Clock Recovery Circuits and Samplers
- Designing and developing general purpose analog building blocks (bias generators, regulators, ADCs and DACs)
- Defining and executing design verification plans to ensure designs meet specifica
