? We're looking for a Junior Operational Excellence Consultant — Freelance
Opex Solutions is expanding its team of senior consultants with a junior profile to support active projects in the manufacturing sector.

What we're looking for:
✅ Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
✅ Fluent in German (written and spoken — mandatory)
✅ Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SMED, OEE, Takt Time)
✅ Basic knowledge of Six Sigma methodology (Green Belt or active study path is a plus)
✅ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, structured models) and PowerPoint (professional presentation design)
✅ Familiarity with and ability to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for data analysis, process optimization, and problem-solving
✅ Strong analytical mindset: comfortable with numbers, data collection, and structured problem-solving
✅ Excellent interpersonal skills — you'll work directly with client teams on the floor
✅ Availability for frequent short-term travel (typically 2–3 days per week on-site)
✅ VAT registration required (freelance / P.IVA — mandatory)
Nice to have:
➕ Prior experience in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or medical device environments
➕ Familiarity with production KPIs (OTD, WIP, Lead Time)
➕ English proficiency (written deliverables are in English)
➕ Experience using CAD tools or plant layout software
What you'll do:
You'll work alongside a senior consultant on structured plant turnaround projects: data collection and analysis, process mapping, layout design support, KPI tracking, and client team facilitation. Real work, real impact, fast learning curve.
