Role description
Prometeon Tyre Group is looking for a Compound & Raw Materials Expert to join its Global R&D; Materials Team, reporting directly to the Compound & Raw Materials Manager.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, qualification and industrialization of raw materials and rubber compounds for industrial tyre applications. Working closely with Product Development, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality and external partners,
the selected professional will contribute to the design of innovative material solutions aimed at improving tyre performance, sustainability and manufacturing robustness.
This position is particularly suitable for professionals with experience in the tyre industry, rubber compounding, elastomer technologies, raw materials development or industrial R&D; environments .
Key responsibilities:
Raw Materials Strategy & Technology Scouting
- Identify, evaluate and introduce new raw materials, technologies and suppliers to enhance compound performance, sustainability and industrial robustness.
- Monitor industry trends and technological developments within the tyre, rubber and polymer sectors.
- Support strategic initiatives related to innovation and sustainable materials.
Compound Development & Project Management
- Lead the development of tyre compounds for industrial applications, translating product performance requirements into robust formulation strategies.
