An established and growing international business operating within the renewable energy sector is looking to appoint an Accountant & Tax Specialist on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support its finance team during a key period of growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you'll play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and supporting wider finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and review accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local accounting standards and internal procedures.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice management and reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyse financial data to support management reporting.
- Assist with tax compliance, including VAT returns, withholding taxes, tax filings, and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with external tax advisors to ensure all accounting and tax obligations are completed accurately and on time.
- Support tax audits by preparing and providing the required documentation.
