ppOHB Italia is seeking for its Satellites Missions Business Unit in bRome /b for immediate start /p h3Ground Operations Engineer Ref.GOE_2026 /h3 h3Purpose: /h3 pThe GOE provides technical operations support for the ground segment, maintaining communication link integrity and resolving system-level issues in coordination with the GOM and SOEs. /p h3Responsibilities: /h3 ul liMonitor ground station telemetry reception and uplink performance in real time. /li liTroubleshoot communication issues (RF link, data transfer, network latency). /li liManage system configuration, patching, and operational readiness of mission control infrastructure including MPS (mission Planning System) and FDS (Flight dyanamics system). /li liMaintain ground segment logs and support anomaly investigations. /li liAssist in the testing and validation of ground system updates. /li liSupport contingency operations and network recovery. /li /ul h3Availability Requirements: /h3 ul liRotational shift coverage aligned with mission pass schedule. /li liOn-call availability during all phases of the mission. /li /ul h3Other requirements: /h3 ul libMSc /b in bAerospace /b or bSpace /b or bTelecommunication /b bEngineering /b or bIT /b.
/li liProven experience – at least b3years /b – in bground operations /b, including direct involvement in bLEOP /b bactivities /b. /li libNetwork /b and bsystem admin /b, knowledge on bmission planning /b and bflight dynamics systems /b. /li liKnowledge of bTTC systems /b, bground networks /b, and bmission control infrastructure /b. /li liFamiliarity with bground segment monitoring /b and btelemetry handling /b. /li liStrong bproblem-solving /b and btroubleshooting skills /b in btime-critical environments /b. /li liAdvanced level of bEnglish /b and excellent bcommunication skills /b. /li liExperience in bLEO /b bmissions /b will be a plus. /li /ul h3Additional Assets /h3 ul liKnowledge of CCSDS Packet Utilization Standard (PUS) rev.
