p h3About the Role /h3 pIn partnership with the CTO, the Cloud / Platform Architect leads the definition and evolution of the SaaS platform architecture, designing scalable, resilient, secure, and observable cloud infrastructure. The role ensures technological consistency and high engineering standards through the adoption of Platform Engineering principles. This person also works closely with the company’s security functions to ensure the security and compliance of the SaaS platform and its underlying infrastructure, while establishing robust observability practices to support reliability, performance, and operational excellence. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, including cloud-native components such as Kubernetes, networking, IAM, and secrets management. /li liDrive infrastructure automation through Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CDK, or Pulumi, as well as GitOps and CI/CD practices. /li liDefine, implement, and evolve observability capabilities across the platform, including centralized logging, metrics, distributed tracing, dashboards, alerting, and service health monitoring. /li liEstablish and maintain reliability frameworks based on SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, supporting proactive performance management and operational visibility. /li liBuild observability standards and best practices to improve troubleshooting, incident detection, root cause analysis, and platform performance optimization. /li liPartner with engineering teams to embed observability into applications and infrastructure by design,
ensuring appropriate instrumentation and actionable telemetry. /li liEnsure technical security and compliance through infrastructure hardening, access control, and patch management in coordination with Security teams. /li liDefine and maintain operational resilience practices, including backup and restore strategies, disaster recovery plans, recovery testing, and operational runbooks. /li liProvide advanced L3 support for infrastructure incidents and lead continuous improvement initiatives through post-mortems, preventive actions, and operational reviews. /li liContribute to the definition of platform standards, architecture principles, and best practices across engineering teams. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. /li liExperience with Kubernetes and Cloud native approach /li liExtensive experience with at least one of the main cloud providers (Azure, GCP, AWS) including the design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions. /li liProficiency with both Linux/Unix and Windows Server operating systems. /li liProficiency in scripting /li liDevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, enhancing continuous integration and delivery across cloud solutions. /li liStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. /li liExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal. /li liProficiency in English and Italian. /li liExperience with Office 365/EntraID account management /li liPrevious Experience as Developer /li liKnowledge of the Java Ecosystem /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
