Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. /b /p pWe are seeking an experiencedbDesign Architect /b that will supportsupport Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC). You will provide architectural design services, coordinate multidisciplinary projects, and ensure designs comply with DoD, Navy, applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. /p pbThis position is contingent upon contract award of the contract. If awarded, the anticipated period of performance will be approximately five years with six months potential extension. /b /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liProvide architectural design services for new construction and renovation projects in compliance with applicable codes and standards. /li liPlan, develop, and coordinate architectural designs for multi-disciplinary/trade, vertical, and horizontal construction projects. /li liReview and develop technical engineering drawings, Statements of Work (SOWs), and contract modifications.



/li liCoordinate architectural requirements with related engineering disciplines and assess their impact on project design. /li liApply DoD and Navy design criteria, guide specifications, policies, IBC, NFPA 101, and applicable industry codes and standards. /li liEnsure designs comply with applicable local, state, federal, and host nation laws, codes, and statutory requirements. /li liMonitor project design activities to ensure successful and timely completion within schedule and budget. /li liPrepare technical reports, progress updates, and recommendations for Government personnel. /li liUse architectural design, drafting, analysis, and project management software to develop and manage design deliverables. /li /ul h3Qualifications to be successful in the role: /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture earned through completion of a course of studies accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or international equivalent, supplemented by substantial hands‑on facilities design experience. /li liMinimum five (5) years of professional, architectural code-compliant facilities design experience for new construction, including renovation design, on U.S. Department of Defense or similar government agency projects.



/li liKnowledge of related architectural and engineering fields and their associated impacts on architectural design. /li liAbility to read, write, and speak fluent English (CEFR C1 level preferred, minimum B2). /li liMust successfully pass required security background investigations. /li /ul h3Why Planate? /h3 pPlanate Management Group is an Affir...
