ppSunset Hospitality Group is a leading multinational lifestyle hospitality group, with a wide portfolio encompassing Hotels Resorts, Restaurants, Beach Clubs, Nightclubs, Fitness Centers, and more. /p pSHG operates over 111 venues in 27 countries with a commitment to deliver authentic and diverse hospitality experiences that bring people together, all around the world. /p pWe are looking for a bPurchasing Manager /b to lead the procurement function across two iconic hospitality destinations in Milan – bPalazzo Cordusio and Torre Velasca /b – covering our bHotels Resorts Division, Members Club and FB outlets. /b /p pThe Purchasing Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement across all divisions, ensuring the highest quality at the best value. This role requires strong skills in negotiation, budgeting, and supplier relationship management. /p h3Main responsibilities /h3 h3Procurement Strategy Operations /h3 ul liPurchase equipment, goods, and services at the best value without compromising on quality. /li liDevelop and implement purchasing policies and cost-saving strategies. /li liForecast product demand and manage stock levels efficiently. /li liConduct market research to identify and evaluate new suppliers and products. /li liEnsure timely reordering and availability of essential materials and consumables. /li liBuild and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors. /li liNegotiate short and long-term contracts to secure favorable terms. /li liEvaluate supplier performance and ensure alignment with quality and ethical standards. /li liKeep updated supplier records, price histories, and contract documentation.
/li liMonitoring procurement spend against budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities; /li liReviewing price variances and supplier terms; /li liManaging and supporting tender processes and contract negotiations; /li liCoordinating closely with Finance on POs, invoice matching, payment terms and budget control; /li liMonitoring supplier performance and ensuring compliance with company standards and requirements. /li /ul h3Quality Compliance /h3 ul liOversee product quality, shipping, storage, and technical requirements. /li liEnsure all purchased goods meet design, safety, and QA specifications. /li liSupervise and support purchasing staff. /li liCollaborate with FB Managers, Kitchen Managers, and Receivers to align on needs. /li liWork closely with finance, operations and Heads of Departments for budgeting and procurement alignment. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Economics, Hospitality Management, or a related field. /li liMinimum of 3 years’ experience as a Purchasing Manager in the luxury hospitality or FB sector. /li liProven ability to lead, develop, and manage a purchasing team effectively. /li liStrong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills. /li liFluency in Italian and English (written and spoken). /li liExcellent computer skills, including experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. /li liSalary Range: 45.000€ to 55.000€ gross per year /li liDiscounts Across Sunset's Venues and More: Experience the Sunset lifestyle to the fullest with exclusive discounts at all our venues and beyond. /li liCareer Growth Opportunities: Your professional journey is our priority.
